Maddie, do the tails on the 4th gens come apart to get to the inside of the lense? If they are like mine then they must be a PITA to take apart.
As for lightcovers, hmmm. I think they lost there popularity a while ago but they do look good still on some cars. I was going to look for a set for the rears of my car but I dont feel like getting harrased by the local PD. I just polished my tails instead.

im not sure..ive never attempted to take em apart. Ive never been bothered for my blackouts and ive had them on my car for 5 years.
