I am getting new tires for my new rims...
I mostly seen eveything that i like, BF Goodrich G-Force sport is what i had before, but as i read online the Nitto NT555 is the tire everyone seems to love.... i know! Tires are like donuts....Eveyone has their Adventure stories with them!
Anyone run Nittos?
input would help on this...thanks

Are you looking for a nice street tire or a somewhat racing tire?

My dad really likes the Eagle F1's he has. The nittos arent too bad but I think they wear faster. My dad hated the last pair of BFG's so he'll never try them again.

I have Nitto NT450s on the Cougar. I never really pushed hard on them, so I can't vouch for how they are however.
I have Falken ST01s on the truck (I think that's the #), I have zero complaints with them, either. They were the cheapest I could find on the size I wanted, and they had favorable reviews. Rain was good with them.

I had Nitto's on my Mustang. Gripped really well... when it wasn't snowing

(yes, I was quite the dumbass to have Nitto's on a car in snow. I am aware of this)

I had 4 BFG KDW and never had a problem with them but to keep costs down I put Nitto555 285/40/17 on the rear of the Cobra a couple years ago and they seem to be holding up pretty well. This from a (old guy) street perspective, I don't do a lot of racing these days.
Long story, but I ended up with Kumho's on the front and they're worn bad. More of a shit TFT alignment than the tires themselves.

My street racing days are long ago too

, i was going with a 275/40/17 and a 255/40/17 front and back...seems like the a good match!...but if i run Nittos i might run a 285/40/17 ..people tell me they run a smaller....

Maxxis Tires, try them, the price is real cheap, the tires are nice, they have like no treadwear, I have these on my 17's on the supra.
