retarded, if you can afford the maserati then you can afford a frickin truck to tow the camper with
Why? The car has the HP/TQ needed to tow a camper. Not only that, did you notice his hazards on? In Europe you don't need a truck to tow since no matter what vehicle you tow with, you're limited to the speed limit for towed vehicles (around 45-55mph) and everyone follows that limit. Not only that, but people understand how to drive over there and share the road with this person.
Here in this litigious society, doing slower than the posted limit is hazardous to everyone on the road, including the slow driver and even the slow person in the right lane with the hazards on will be found at fault by someone for something. Not only that, if you research a little, you'll see the laws have been made to favor trucks over cars for towing on this side of the pond.
For example, a car made exactly the same here and and for the European market... will have a 2K towing limit here, and a 3.5K limit there... for the same exactly equipped car. Ask yourself why that is? Is it because if someone does above 55mph on the highway while towing, although advised against in the manual and by the manufacturer, they'd win a lawsuit? So to avoid that, you get lower limits in the manual although the vehicle is capable.
Over there... they don't exceed their limits. Heck, doing over 45-55 while towing can carry hefty fines. Not only that, you can be taxed heavily for having more than one vehicle per driver in the household. (It costs about $2K for a license test, and it's quite strict, and you can only take it once a year).
So while we laugh at that video, the rest of the world laughs at us.
