Listen, this username changing thing is getting out of hand already. I cant keep up on who is who now. I dont have a problem with changing your name here but I think that your old name should be displayed under your new name for 30 days so that the rest of us know who we are talking too. it just makes things easier and less confusing. One minute I am talking to one name and 2 days later there is a brandnew name in that spot. Am I the only one who thinks this. If I am then tell me
Hyland33
yeah, i've lost track of poeple a few times before...

Brad a agree with you 100 % its getting out of hand
wantahertzdonut
Yeah I can say in the last month, there are a few people who I have no idea who they are. The name thing is cool, but if you have a name that you've had in the past, put it in your sig!
Tap
i am in agreement with this too
danigurrl
I agree with this. Maybe not as a rule...but as a courtesy. People could list their old name in their custom user titles? Or in their signature.

Such as "Formally known as XXXXXX" or "aka XXXXXXX" or whatever.

Sounds good Brad.

Changing usernames gets super annoying. Stick with one across websites so people know who you are. I've switched to my universal name. It's boring, but it works. I don't care about making a trendy call-sign for myself anymore though.
PSquare75
I am Psquare75 everywhere.. and have been for 12 years

The only reason I have the raised 2 is because I can lol.gif
LS6rally
^^haha. yes i agree Rod. maybe people will catch on. i know ther are a few who already had it.

If it were a matter of people who rarely post complaining about name changes, that would be one thing. Since regular posters have raised the concern about this then I agree 100%. The user's actual name should be posted somewhere in the sig or profile along with their former screen name IMO and as Dani mentioned (out of courtesy). Hopefully nobody's been confused with mine but if you want I can add it into my sig/profile lol.gif

who are you again? lol.gif
BryanH
Put your former names in your sig... like I did.
wantahertzdonut
Yes, definitely in the sig. The username captions get changed way too frequently and at least until recently were able to be changed by others, so keep your first, original (or most used) username in your sig. It definitely makes things easier!
danigurrl
I'm danigurrl on every website that I've ever signed up on. It's been my "name" since I was 15 or 16.
fordfanatic
there, i updated my sig so nobody gets confused. tongue.gif
