Jan 10 2009, 06:52 PM
If it is the same body style as my truck, i know someone else who has one. Its fiberglass, and doesn't line up real good the say it sits, but i'm sure will a lil work it'd be fine. I'll see if htey wanna get rid of it.

There's only two other trucklike mine around here that people think is mine though.
There's a half ton GMC at Lacava, but it doesn't have tint,m and has ugly wheels and tires.
There's also a Tahoe around that looks like my truck, he has the tint, but is obviously shorter, has diff wheels and doesn't have the painted flares though. That bastard always seems to get me into trouble. People always think he's me!
All the truck around here with the hoods are all black.. Not two tonedm and I don't think I've seen any burbs.

Ok this is just me kinda thinking out loud here. But what if you were to bring the color on the flares and such onto the sides of the cowl, the vertical parts. Right now the way I'm visioning it, I think it will look good and deff be different.

What color is your Suburban? I doubt people would mistake a Blazer for a burban but I do have the black sport grille like you said you had so I hope I'm not the bastard that always gets you in trouble lol.

That's funny you mentioned that cause I was talking ot the my body shop guy (also the guy i bought both my trucks from) about that same thing, Just gotta figure out what I want...I figure when he fixes the rear quarter this spring and has both of the paint colors mixed, he can paint the hood and the truck at the same tiem

Is the hood fiberglass of steel? I know there are a few steel cowl hoods out there that are made for that body style. Not that it matters though, I say go for it. Then you can mount some gauges under the cowl.
