Nope, Joey's is green and silver two tone. He might have some primer on the passengers side fender. I'll get a picture.

2" lift will look good, with a nice set of 33"s and the cowl hood. Not too big but big enough for what she is gonna do with it. Like she said she needs it for work and is her DD

2" isnt bad at all
Kady
Jan 14 2009, 08:39 PM
But two inches it too small. Doesn't matter which way you look at it. ;-) sorry that i had to be the one to say it..
But on a serious note. The 2" kits are only a couple hundred bucks...

As good as my truck is in the snow, that would be the stupidest thing i ever did. I don't beloieve in lowering 4wd, 4 goes up, 2 goes down
^^ +1. Not to mention the shakes you'd get if you lowered the 4wd the right amount to really set off a set of 22"+ wheels. If you want to keep it reasonable a couple inches of suspension lift and bigger tires will make a decent difference. Just my $0.02.

I did 2" blocks in the rear of my 92 blazer and cranked the torsion keys in the front and I was able to fit the 33x12.5's with just a little trimming of the front bumper.

and if you buy ford torsion keys you can get 3 inches out of the front.
Kady
Jan 20 2009, 05:17 PM
Is it the same even though mine is a 3/4 ton? And i didn't really wanna go the torsion bar route.

Jan 20 2009, 05:55 PM

Kady
Jan 20 2009, 06:30 PM
independent front. unfortunately.. My friends brother in law lives two streets over from me. He has a z71 with a solid axel conversion.. Its my dream truck,.
D. Snuts
Jan 20 2009, 06:36 PM
you could just get shackels for the rear and crank the torsion bars for about 2" of lift
Kady
Jan 20 2009, 06:39 PM
I don't wanna do that. I feel like its hacked.

Watch out cranking the tbars, I have "green keys" that are pretty cranked up and my truck likes to break front axles, the angle is too much.
