crossfire injection......................

I have none of the problems often associated with the Crossfire Injection setup and KITT runs like a tiger. It has never given me any problems other than the throttle sticking at 2000 RPM.

You must be pretty lucky then, everyone I know that has had a GM car with CFI hates it! Sweet car and good luck with it.

It’s not that powerful but it gets the job. How many miles do your buddies cars have?
Around 100,000 miles is when problems arise.

Whats with the whole Cross Fore Injection anyway, I never did understand that, is that 2-2 barrel carbs?

GM's first and failed attempt at EFI= Electonic Fuel Injection CFI was only availabe from 1982-1983 on the Camaro and Firebird. 1982 and 1984 on the Corvette with 305ci V8 or 350 ci V8 option.

Yeah it had over 100k on it, it was a vette.

I searched everywhere for a Pass. side lower GFX for the door and it was almost impossible to find. Hawks had 2 of them at the time and I bought em both. I also have a set of 15th Anniv. tails too that I appened to pick up.

4 speed manual was only available in 1982 last I knew.

may have been thought 83 as well but i never researched it much

It is a TH-700R4 4-speed Overdrive Automatic (MXO RPO Code)

There was a 4 speed Standard Transmission available (MO8 RPO Code) in 1983 but not with the Daytona 500 Edition Package.
