I've seen a few Focus on another site. They like to put washers under the hinges too and lift the back of the hood up about 2".

it looks awesome on older cars.

they started doing it awhile back on old vws like rabbits that people where working on as projects that where old and had.....rusted hoods somehow it became trendy and people started acid washing there hoods idk why especially on a new mk4 or mk5 i mean wouldnt my gti look sick if i washed the hood with acid lol
