I saw your truck in the ride of the month posting and didn't want to jack that thread. You have the same truck as me and I saw you had a three inch body lift, how bad was that to do. Did you have to modify the shifter linkage? I was going to do a two inch body lift but would rather have the extra inch if it isn't a huge pain in the ass. Thanks.

I actually bought the truck with the body lift. But from what I've heard it's not too bad to do. My shifter link doesn't appear to be modified at all. The only part of the truck that has to be modified is the fan shroud. You need to get longer bolts and some spacers to put between the top and bottom half so the fan doesnt hit the bottom part with the lift. Like I said, i bought it with the lift but it doesn't seem to need many modifications to do it.

Thanks for the info, I might just do the 3" lift instead.

a 3" suspension lift would be the way to go. I'm not crazy about how body lifts look anyway. I would much rather have a suspension lift.

The plan is 6" suspension and 3" body. I am not a fan of body lifts but from what I have been reading I need at least 9 inches to get my tires under the truck.

what size tires?

38x15.5x15
