2001 Focus ZX3 auo trans. The '01 Focus has the turn signal/flasher/brake lights ( not top light ) run through the hazard switch. They changed to the ECU in '02. My dash indicator for the right turn is stuck on when lights are turned on. It will not flash at all. Here's the weird thing. I illiminated the parking light wire so there should be no constant power going to the light. It also stays on in the grill. Even if I take off the wires the dash light stays lit. I change the multi function switch, and the hazard switch and it still stays on. It will not flash at all with hazard or turn signal applied. I've got the dash half torn apart right now. I changed bulbs, took lights apart, disconnected all wiring and nothing changed. This is a inique Focus issue I believe. But if anyone has any input it would be appreciated. I have another hazard switch on order even though I tried the two I have now. My brake lights were also getting stuck on last week while the car was running in gear. Put it in park and they would go out. I did the brake switch for that but they still got stuck. That is intermittent with a new switch or not. I spent about 3 hours tearing the car apart and about the same searching on line. There was only one person I narrowed down to the hazard switch. I'm stumped on this one. Any ideas.
