gonna have to be doing these soon, any body got any advice on the easiest way to do them? i've never done them before, but i don't want to pay like 80 bucks to have someone do it for me...any help would be much appreciated...thanks smile.gif

I suggest paying the money.. A few things can go wrong when doing them when you don't know how.. Just spend the $ or ride with leaky seals.

i got a kid out in warwick that jus did some on a gsxr he did em for free cuz it was this kid i know we can jus tell em we grew up together or suttin if ya want

well i have yet to take something apart that i can't put back together (maybe a few extra pieces...but hey no one's perfect...) just lookin for a little guidance..

Watch out for stripping the bolts is number 1.

i dont about the sport bikes but harleys are easy!!

the worst part is getting the forks off a bike, harleys arent bad, not alot of stuff to remove , you can use a floor jack, sportbikes big diffrence the only thing left on the bike is the tail, cause you need to pull everything off!!!

fix the seals, that oil gets on your brakes and your fucked.

pick up a clymer manual for your bike and it explains exactly how to do it...

80 bucks is a good deal to do it if you don't want to tackle it yourself.

i know this sounds stupid...but i'm actually looking forward to doing it myself...no matter how much of a mess it makes or how long....i'll have to check out that manual though...thanks

If you have the tools it can't be too terrible. I used to rebuild forks on mountain bikes and the designs are pretty similar. But seriously, $80 is a steal to have them done.
