got it running today all I can say is wow had no idea that it was going to be this aggressive sounding I love it !!!!

If you happened to live off of belmont st in brockton you may have heard it at about 6 oclock tonight!!

broke her in 2500rpms open headers boy my bloods still pumping !!

have a video but have no idea how to post it beside the video qaulity sound just can't compare to standing right there and to say it was loud would be a understatement.

I am completely stoked tommorow going to get the exaust hooked up and sort out my excelarater cable and kick down cable kit both are after market and need installing do a complete bolt tightening check, adjust the shifter cable .

looks like I might make it to my first cruise next week.

well got her on the road the other night must say the 528 is a beast this thing will spin the tires in third while at cruiseing speed with just a jab of the gas.

haven't opened the secondairys on the 1090 king demon yet because this thing is such a handful the tourqe is unreal I have a manual valve body and a 3500 stall and 3.91 gears she will go in second or third from a stop with no bog and will blow the tires off at will.

need to get some good sticky tire so I can realy see what she can do but must say Im haveing a blast a lot of fine tuning to do still but will get it down soon enough.

must say the stroker route definatly makes power.

Glad to hear. Thats why I swear by 400+ci sbc's now. Torque monsters.

Strokers ftw!! 3500 must hit HARD..

Wow!

Thats gonna be a handful on the streets. Time to get some drag radials just to run around on the street with. What should a motor like this put to the wheels?

I really dont know old school muscle too well. I just know this thing will be fast

For more info on the kit I used ck out this site.

http://www.440source.com/strokerkits.htm

my opion its got to be just about the easyest way to build 500+ hp on the street without a power adder.

I finally have had a chance to take my 73 charger out with the 528 under the hood this car is definatly not a light weight shes fairly heavy but you would not no it with this kind of power .

a well known mopar engine builder from anouther site estimates that with the cam and heads Im useing (the heads being the limiting facter here) my street engine should be makeing 550hp @ 5500 and close to 650+ ftlbs of Tq @ 3600 and I must report even if these nubers aren't completely acurate that this car is absolutely scary now.

I have never felt any thing pull this hard with just a jab without even going into the secondaries a matter of fact this thing is a absolute tire shreader dosn't matter what gear Im in it crazy looks like I need some sticky tire and a rear suspention upgrade.

The key to this is Tourqe and tons of it lol.

Time to get some drag radials at the very least. At least then you should be able to hook at highway speeds.

well haven,t been here in quiet a while
last coming back from my second cruise ran into a slight problem with my roller rockers a few push rods
3 adjusters decided to push thier way back up through the rocker arms destoying the threads and bending 3 3/8" cromoly push rods , no real damage to the engine but the rockers are trashed. aparantly buying the bargain proform rockers was a bad idea.

it seems the rockers I bought 2 yrs ago have a warning now that wasn't there when i bought them (not for use with came with over .500 lift)

saveing up for a good set of harland sharps approx $700 -$800 for a mopar might go 1.6 or 1.7 to get more lift.

last summer I end up putting the factory stamped steels back on and taking her out for a blast and at last got it wide open theres nothing like 80 to 90 feet of rolling rubber in third gear on a side street in the city lol.

aside from a severe traction problem she goes straight even when the steering feels like it floating at full throutle

ended up put her on the back burner buisness has been a little off and money just isn't there right now .

hopeing Ill get her ready to go up NED next summer got a lot of friends pulling for me going to help get it setup just hope I get the $$$ to get it done

if it goes well planning on pulling the 528 and trans and dropping it in my gutted duster to go fastest at the drags and putting a mild 440 in the charger for cruiseing

Proform stuff doesnt belong in engines.

You should really use a steel rocker IMO. Comp pro magnums are what I'm using and my cam is .59x lift.
