Mechanic tells the wife her car needs an Ignition Module. Her car has been shutting off on its own while driving. Where is this part located and is it easy to put in?????

also, what is it compatible with? got a couple fords that may be getting scrapped soon.
I just tried to look in Auto Zones database and it's not in there
compatible with Mercury tracer??

1995 Ford Escort 1.9L MFI SOHC 4cyl
The Control Module-Ignition is located:
Under hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, mounted under relay block behind battery
