I have a friend that has a 200 s10 blazer. When he turns on his blazer all the parking lights come on with it. Any ideas what would cause this?

Please explaine further When the car is turned on the parking lights outside the car come on? pull the day time running lights fuse and shut lights off or step on the parking break and turn the lights to the off position 2 ways to tun off you daytime runners and see if that shuts them off if so then i belive that it may be a day time runner issue if i read what you said correctly

I had an 89 s10 blazer. and I had major electrical issues. I betcha it's an electrical issue. I had the car for 3 years or so. I had put a new tank and fuel pump in and like 6 monthes later the fuel pump went...so I dropped the tank again and replaced the fuel pump again (hmmmm...didnt work) somehow the wires swapped polarities? I dont know what you would call that, but the negitive and postive wires were now opposite that they were to start. I had to rewire the fuel pump and hook it direct so when you turned the key the pump came on. I also had lighting issues. interiors not shutting off and tail lights not working. eventually i just junked it because it was just a cluster fuck.

hey im a DIPSHIT! LMAO! see told ya Im on borrowed time. I wasnt thinking but 1990 comes after 1989 not 2000. totally different generation of blazer. please disregaurd my blah blah! tongue.gif
