So are you guys in for the spectator drags this time around, or did the crashes last event scare you guys off?

I can't see myself ever getting into drag racing hardcore and chasing time slips. Especially not with a car that does like 12's or higher. With my car now, all I'd be doing is working on getting the launch perfect and then working on shifting perfect the entire way. I'm sure I could nail that down eventually and that it would just take time. Seems boring to me. Now if I had power to lift my front wheels, that might be more interesting and a lot more difficult but it's not high on my lifetime priority list.
I also doubt that the drag strip is ever as exciting as it is being in the grass infield as the results unwind, as your pulling in on deck to race hearing the muffled crowd yelling with the windows up. I never went to NED before, but doesn't it have like a bleacher seat section kinda like the local softball field?

Car is all set already. I didn't think my mechanic was going to get to it so quick. My brake pedal never felt this good. Though I've had problems with my brake pedal feel all season.
Too bad having good brakes doesn't really help at seekonk. In fact it might hurt me more now because I can over-brake easier now. Less pedal travel for error

Good event. I wanted 1st place bad, but I gotta launch better than that crap I pulled yesterday. I couldn't have launched worse than that. I got away with it vs the CTS-V but not against the 3000gt. Mike is good though and has been improving big time, and I guess that's what I get for sending him home 1st round in August

The trailer race was awesome. They need to let them run more laps though.

Mike is a good kid. I was cheering for him after I lost to him. Too bad he blew his intercooler connection. He had a 2 inch long tear in it. Though Chris is cool too, so I was happy to see either of them win.
Dinardo Jr though I need to have a talk with him. He's bumped into 2 cars in the past few events where the contact appeared questionable. If someone's in front of you then in my opinion you have two choices... either wait/hope for the guy to go wide... or beat him on the outside lane.

You're not the girl who talked to me after the specs in the 4th of July event by any chance are you? I have a few people who come by and say hey whats up and I forget who they are or when I talked to them before. I apologize to anyone who I might do that to. My brain has a poor memory and the better I've done in the specs, the more people I have to remember. Doh. So it's not that I don't care, but that there's just a ton of people to remember now and I need to start taking notes lol

Thanks to all the fluids, crashes, infield skids that required cleanup during the spectator drags. Man that sucks sitting around forever, especially at the starting line.
