Is there a reason why a thread on this site won't work when I send a link to a friend who isn't a member of the forum?

A lot of the sections on here are "protected" and for members only.

Yes some parts of the forum require being a member in order to view them, just kind of a lil way of trying to get people to sign up

What ones are open to non-members? I try to send links to the site to friends once in a while in hopes they'll sign up, but I don't want to send dead links!

not sure whats open and whats not, but you could log out and check what you cna see as a nonmember?
